Modulation Sciences recently demonstrated highly reliable reception of standard ATSC pictures and
DIGITAL PROceiver® IFB in news helicopters. These demonstrations of the DSPversity™ System took place in the Midwest and the Pacific Northwest, proving performance under widely different topography and flying conditions. One station broadcasts on high VHF, the other mid UHF.
The DSPversity System consists of two key sub-systems; a four channel ATSC diversity receiver and a unique array of antennas (patent pending). A special feature of the antenna ensamble is that for most helicopters no penetration of the fuselage is needed. This vastly reduces the cost and complexity of installation.
IFB audio is fully compatible with the existing Modulation Sciences
DIGITAL PROceiver for live trucks. With more than 250 receivers delivered and operational.
DIGITAL PROceiver is a proven system for delivering IFB via the transport stream.
